Welcome to Laingbrae Cottage
New to let for 2008 season: former farm outbuildings converted to modern, comfortable living accommodation. Centrally located in Kirkwall, within 10 minutes walk of St Magnus Cathedral and Broad Street, and only a few minutes walk from Highland Park Distillery.
Accommodation
Hot water is by means of Solar Power, with back-up provided by oil-powered heating/water system. All rooms have under-floor heating regulated by temperature control.
Living area is open plan with kitchen/dining area, dining table and 4 chairs and seating for 6. A wall-mounted, flat-screen television completes this comfortable room.
Further double bedroom (which can convert to twin room) also has ensuite wet room. This wet room has been adapted for disabled and able-bodied alike with generous walk in shower, toilet, wash-hand basin and storage unit for towels, etc.

Directions
From Airport
Follow signs into Kirkwall going past sign for Highland Park Distillery. Continue for 200 yards and turn right onto Park Loan. Cottage entrance is off Park Loan.
From Town Centre
Go up Palace Road. Cottage is situated next to Laingbrae, second property left hand side of Bignold Park Road, opposite Clay Loan. Via Clay Loan: At top of Clay Loan, cottage is opposite grassy area, next to Laingbrae, which has a white conservatory on the corner.
From St. Margaret’s Hope (East Mainland)
Follow signs for Kirkwall. Go past Highland Park Distillery, follow Holm Branch Road, turn left at junction with main road, continue 200 yards and turn right onto Park Loan. Cottage entrance is off Park Loan.
